Friday July 23rd- Saturday July 24th
Friday July 23rd- Saturday July 24th
Rafting for Wishes is an annual fundraising event to benefit Make-A-Wish New Hampshire and it is our team's 4th year participating! This year's event takes place July 23rd-24th at Meredith Bay and Hesky Park or virtually 24th 8am-6pm. Each team is required to have one team member on the raft at all times for the duration of 24 hours and is encouraged to raise $3,000, a minimum of $300 per member. It is open to the public and we encourage you to come check it out for yourself!
We are thrilled to have Emme as our Wish Buddy for the fourth year in a row! Before the young age of 3, Emme was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia and we are happy to announce she has been cancer free for more than 4 years now! Emme raises money for Make-A-Wish NH by selling lemonade so other children can have their wishes granted like she did.
Our Landscaping Lake Life team consists of the Lake Life Realty team and members from Stephens Landscaping Professionals LLC. We are both excited and honored to have been last year's 1st place team raising over $30,000!
Our team raised enough money in 2020 to grant 3 wishes, 1 of which was Mandie's wish to have her own swimming pool! She wanted to be able to swim with her sisters and friends, due to her illness she is unable to swim in any of our lakes but now she has the luxury of swimming without any worry!
The 2nd wish our team was able to grant in 2020 was Caydence's with to have her very own shopping spree. Just look how excited she is after her fully funded Target shopping spree!
Madison, who is 15, wished to virtually meet Roman Reigns the professional wrestler. Her wish was the 3rd wish our team was able to grant in 2020!
The money we raised in 2019 fully funded Abby's wish to go to Thailand. When asked why she chose Thailand, this is what Abby's mother had to say: "We wanted to get as far away from her illness as we could. While going through treatment, she would get lost in books about exotic places and animals always make her smile. Our trip was everything she could have ever dreamed about and more, and it allowed us to put the past behind us and turn the page to the next chapter."
The money we raised in 2019 also fully funded Daniel's wish to get a service dog. Daniel decided to name his new pup Marshall and the two are inseparable!
