February 2023 Lake Winnipesaukee Report
Often we are asked what is the entry level to live on the lake. Well, a price point to have "direct" Lake Winnipesaukee access was offered at $489,900 last month and went pending with just 8 days on the market at 24 Loon Cove Rd in Alton. The cottage features water frontage on Watson Brook, which leads directly into Lake Winnipesaukee, AS WELL AS a 24-foot dock across the street on the lake itself. There are unique properties like this that can get you on the lake for a lower price, island is also a lower price point than main land but in recent years has appreciated greatly as well. If the FIVE newly listed properties last month- 2 are already under contract- leaving 3 new ones remaining on the market. One is a Scott Fuller new construction currently in the framing stage of completion on Long Island in Moultonborough (accessible by car)- located at 134 West Point Rd.
