June 2020 Lakes Region Statistical Report


Nine new properties came on the market last month in Alton, while 8 went under agreement. Another 8 listings sold ending the month with a days on market average of 35 days which was more than half of the average when comparing the year before. The median sales price increased for both the month of May in 2019 to 2020 and YTD when comparing 2019 to 2020.

Center Harbor

Center Harbor had the highest days on market average for all of the towns surrounding Lake Winnipesaukee with an average of 178 days. Three new properties came on the market and 3 sold. Only one went under agreement last month in Center Harbor.

Gilford was in the top 3 for most sold properties ending the most with nine closed listings. It also had one of the lower days on market averages with just 35 days. 18 new listings came on the market while 8 went under agreement last month. One of the properties to go under agreement is a home we are lucky to be representing the buyers, it is expected to close the first week in July!


As always, Laconia saw some of the best numbers in each of the categories. 17 properties sold last month in Laconia, while 36 new listings hit the market. Two of those 36 new homes were our listings: 48 Landing Lane Unit 2 which went under agreement in just 7 days and 103 Hickory Stick Lane which is also now under agreement! Things are moving quickly!

17 new listings came on the market last month in Meredith while 14 closed. 13 homes went under agreement and  Meredith had one of the lower days on market averages with 47 days. One of the 13 homes to go under agreement we are thankful to be representing the buyer on! 


With the 2nd highest amount, Moultonborough had 25 new listings come on the market  last month. It was the highest, but Moultonborough did have one of the higher days on market averages with 145 days. Six listings both sold, and went under agreement. 

One of the listings to close last month in Moultonborough was 152 Bean Rd where we represented both the buyers and sellers and was on the market for 0 days.


Only 5 listings sold in Tuftonboro last month beating Center Harbor and Wolfeboro's low by just 2 homes. 11 new listings came on the market last month. 5 properties went under agreement with a high days on market average of 158 days.

Wolfeboro had one of the most new listings to come on the market, one of the most listings go under agreement and the lowest days on market average with just 15 days! It was a great month in the market for Wolfeboro last month!
