Local Author Night April 12th

Join us for a special evening in our Winnipesaukee Room.
The Moultonborough Public Library is partnering with the Castle for a delightful evening with local authors. The cost of the ticket includes light appetizers, a drink ticket (cash bar also available), and a chance to meet local authors with a gorgeous view from the Winnipesaukee Room at the Castle in the Clouds.
During the month of November, we celebrate Indie Author Day (Nov. 14) and also a writing challenge known as NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). Writers are challenged to write 50,000 words in the month of November. This is equivalent to 200 pages. Many authors have created their first drafts of their novels during this challenge.
Authors include Karel Hayes, Jane Rice, Mj Pettingill, Alison Szabo, and Julie Carrick Dalton.
More authors will be added as they are confirmed.

Paul Driscoll live at FOSTER'S TAVERN in Alton Bay! Paul Driscoll is a singer-songwriter from Central New Hampshire. Growing up partly in Boston and partly in Denver, his influences lay strongly in the folk, R&B, and country genres that each place exposed him to. In 2020 he released his first album “Mayor of Hesitation” featuring his unique sound, heartfelt lyrics, and powerful vocal stylings. His live performances showcase his own songs mixed in with a large selection of well-known favorites.

This acoustic-rock trio passionately performs spot-on renditions of all the beloved Simon & Garfunkel hits and James Taylor classics completely unplugged. Well known for their emphasis on strong vocals, this group brings three-part harmonies and excellent musicianship to the stage.
Singer and drummer Bill DeSanty is the featured vocalist in the James Taylor tribute set. Mike Smith and Dave Fazio's passionate tribute inspires their spot-on renditions of all the beloved Simon & Garfunkel hits.
