Constellations at the Castle

Thursday August 14th | 8PM - 10PM | Castle in the Clouds | 586 Ossipee Park Rd, Moultonborough

Join the New Hampshire Astronomical Society for an exciting stargazing experience at Castle in the Clouds! Bring your family and friends for an hour-long presentation about the wonders of the night sky while the last light of the day fades away. Then, make your way to the field by Shannon Pond to get a chance to use a telescope to view constellations, planets, and more. This event is perfect for children and adults alike! Please note, the presentation takes place in the Winnipesaukee Room, on the second floor of the Carriage House. An elevator is available.

This family-friendly event is free and open to the public. Donations during the event contribute to the Castle Preservation Society’s and New Hampshire Astronomical Society’s ability to continue offering wonderful events like this.

Registration is encouraged but not required. Knowing how many people will be attending allows us to better prepare for the evening.

The first hour is a sensory-friendly period where horns, sirens, and lights are not allowed.
