Join Advantage Kids for another summer of beginner tennis lessons - and, now, even MORE! Tennis PLUS (yoga + meditation) is an hour and a half program aimed at teaching kids resilience, self-confidence, self-regulation, and the basic skills they need to play a tennis match.
Combining tennis and yoga increases kids’ ability to focus, excel academically, and relate to each other.
As always, Tennis PLUS is a free program offered at your local park. Sign up through Parks & Rec or on our website at AdvantageKids.net, and we’ll see you out there, twice a week, for an hour plus of Tennis PLUS (yoga + meditation).
No equipment or experience necessary; all programs lead by professional Tennis Pros and Yoga Teachers.

Some things are always the same:
You can always find us on Wednesdays, 4-6:30pm, in the center of Canterbury next to the Elkins Public Library. The only exception is if there are big thunderstorms! Market runs until the last Wed. in September.
There will always be a great selection of vendors featuring fresh and local fruits, veggies, eggs, maple products, baked goods, crafts and more.
While the musicians change every week, there is always great live music.
Dogs are always welcome, so long as they are on their leash. Please be mindful of the heat!
Some things are a little different each week:
FIRST week of the month we?ll have a Kids' Activity.
SECOND week of the month the NH Master Gardeners will answer questions.
THIRD week of the month we?ll host our famous ?Sandwich Slam.?
FOURTH Week of the month we all help fill ?Mary Ellen's Basket.?

Resin Art on Charcuterie Boards August 9th

Let’s Make some waves!
• During this ‘free pour’ workshop you’ll learn about resin, pigments, tools & different
techniques to create this realistic wave action on a charcuterie board
• You will first practice applying the learned techniques on pressed board
• Then you will apply the technique a 2nd time onto your charcuterie board.
• It is recommended to wear an apron or clothing that you do not care if resin drips
• 11” x 15” board - $66.00
• ***The art will be left overnight to cure & picked up during the next business hours or the time
designated by the host.
• ***If you transport your charcuterie board home to finish curing, it is “at your own risk.”***
Bring a box big enough to transport your art. It is highly recommended to leave your art
overnight.
• Seats are limited for this workshop
• The resin is 100% VOC Free, USDA approved food safe and no respirator needed. The

The first ever “Lake Winnipesaukee Day'' will be celebrated at The Oldest Summer Resort in America at the Wolfeboro Town Docks on August 11, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The new festival will be hosted each year on the second Friday of August, in celebration of the economic, recreational, and cultural benefits Winnipesaukee offers to all. It will highlight the importance of lake and land conservation and preservation.
