Holiday Kids Market December 14th

Saturday December 14th 9am-12pm| The Gilford Youth Center | 19 Potter Hill Rd, Gilford

What is a "Kids Market"?
A Kids Market is an opportunity for kids (5-14) of all ages to create and sell their creations on Saturday, December 14th, 9-noon
Products can be anything from baked goods, art projects, custom jewelry...pretty much anything kids can create.
Children choose what to create, they (with parents help of course) create prices, they manage the money (parents can help depending on age), and they share their talents with the community!!!

Visit
GilfordYouthCenter.com to Register, space is limited!!

Parent Involvement
We encourage parents to assist their children when necessary (ie; purchasing supplies, getting organized, using the oven, driving) however, parents are not allowed to make items for the children to sell OR sell their own handmade items at a Kid Vendor booth.
We also ask that parents help promote the market. Invite family, friends and neighbors.
Benefits of the Kids Market
1. Kids can learn about being entrepreneurs.
2. There is no greater feeling when someone buys something you personally make.
3. It promotes self esteem, confidence, and encourages creativity (through making the product, packaging the product, and selling the product)
4. Although we want kids to be in the lead with their market, this encourages family time and guidance from parents.
