Culinary Kids Valentine's Day Truffle Class February 8th

Valentine's Day Culinary Kids Truffle Making & Decorating Class. Children ages 6-12 are invited to come learn how to make homemade truffles, decorate, and present them gift ready. At this Valentine's themed event students will also create a handmade origami box to put their special chocolates in.

Learn how to safely make your very own soap! We will learn the basics of soap making and each participant will take home about 10 bars of seasonally scented soap to enjoy.
Whether you regularly use shampoo bars or are looking to green your hygiene, make lathering shampoo bars to gently and naturally clean your hair. We will review the basics of the soap making process. Each participant will take home about 10 bars of scented shampoo bars as well as an herbal-infused vinegar rinse.

Wilderness Survival: Winter Fire Starting February 8th

Whether you are looking to learn something new or brush up your outdoor skills, prepare for your next adventure and learn survival strategies for the backcountry.
With snow and ice covering much of the necessary materials, starting a fire in the winter can be a challenge. This program will cover a variety of ignition methods, foraging fire making materials from nature, as well as inventive artificial methods you can prepare before going out in the woods.
Recommended Ages: 14+
