Loon Cruise on Squam Lake July 26th

Loon Cruise Mondays and Fridays at 3:00 p.m. Holderness, NH – Squam Lakes Natural Science Center and the Loon Preservation Committee (LPC) are offering cruises that focus on Common Loon conservation, biology, and monitoring. A Science Center naturalist joins an LPC biologist who guides the tour and discusses the work LPC does across the state and on Squam to protect these extraordinary birds. The cruise route is chosen to maximize Loon observations.

The first running of the North East Motor Sports Museum: Rally-tour Around the Lake will take place on July 31st. Beginning at the museum, the rally will twist and turn over scenic New Hampshire roads and conclude at the Vintage Racing Stables car collection in Sanbornton, NH. The rally is part of the annual Vintage Racing Stables: Timeless Cars of New England weekend and is limited to 1972 or older vehicles with a maximum of 25 entries.
