Stargazing at Squam

What to Expect:Join us for a captivating evening under the cosmos at Squam Lake. Hosted by the Squam Lakes Association, this introductory stargazing workshop features members of the New Hampshire Astronomical Society who’ll guide you through spotting constellations, planets, and celestial highlights using telescopes.
Whether you’re a beginner or longtime sky-lover, you’ll learn stargazing basics — when and where to look, what tools to use, and how to make the most of the night sky.
Good to Know:
- All ages are welcome (children must be accompanied by an adult).
- Dress warmly and bring a flashlight; we’ll be outdoors at dusk.
- Registration is required — space may be limited.
