Castle After Hours are back, offering more opportunities to tour the Lucknow mansion at night! Enjoy a rare opportunity to explore the home at a time when the state goes quiet, the sun takes its rest, and the stars fill the sky. The ambiance and glow of each room makes being in the home after dark a special experience, adding a new perspective to what life was like at Lucknow.

Relax with a drink by the fireplace in The Carriage House starting at 5:30pm and enjoy Castle tours from 6-8pm! A cash bar will be available until 8:30pm.

Vintage Race Boat Regatta September 13th & 14th

Friday September 13th 9am-4pm | Wolfeboro Town Docks | Wolfeboro Common, Wolfeboro, NH

Nearly 50 vintage boats representing several classes including small outboards, Grand Prix hydroplanes, Jersey Skiffs, and Gold Cup racing boats will run group heats on a one-mile oval-shaped course throughout the day. Visit NHBM.org for the schedule of events and registration.

Raptor Spectacular September 14th

Join us for a daylong special event about the wonderful birds of prey known as raptors. Enjoy a special program by Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS) featuring birds in flight. Meet live raptors throughout the day at trail-side Up Close to Animals presentations. Watch a rehabilitated raptor released back to the wild. Have a one-on-one encounter with a raptor and one of our volunteer docents as they rove the live animal exhibit trail throughout the day.

Cost: all Raptor Spectacular activities are included with trail admission.

Mountaintop Yoga September 14th

Saturday September 14th 9am-10:15am | Gunstock Mountain Resort | 719 Cherry Valley Rd, Gilford, NH

Enjoy a peaceful chairlift ride to the summit of Gunstock with your friends in the fresh morning air. Take in the majestic views of Lake Winnipesaukee and surrounding mountains as far as the eye can see, while breathing, moving, and meditating. This is all about elevating your mood, improving your flexibility in a beautiful, natural setting, and starting your day feeling centered.

These weekly sessions are for everyone but geared toward beginners: they include only the most basic poses and moves, and will leave you feeling loose, relaxed, and ready to approach your day with a sense of great intention!

Please arrive for class no later than 8:45am, as the Panorama chairlift loads participants at 9am. Class wraps up at 10am and includes a lift ride down the mountain as well. A LIMITED number of yoga mats are available for guests to use, however, we strongly recommend bringing your own mat to this popular class.

Drop-in rate for each class is $20.

Cow Pie Bingo Fundraiser September 15th

A maximum of 500 tickets will be sold for this event. Tickets are $20 each and may be purchased at Belknap House. Other ticket sale locations and purchases via the Belknap House website will be available soon. 

Each ticket is associated with one 4x4 ft square on a grid containing 500 squares. If the cow chooses the grid associated with your ticket you will win up to $2500.00 or 25% of the ticket sales. You don't have to be present to win.
