Alton
In January, Alton had six properties close, only one more than January of the previous year. Seven new homes came on the market, with average days on market at a high 133.
The number seven is popular for Alton as they also had seven properties go under contract last month! While the median sales price did take a 40.8% decrease, the volume of sold listings increased almost 29%.
Center Harbor
Last month, four properties closed in Center Harbor which was four more than the previous year. The average days on market was one of the lowest in the Lakes Region with 71 days.

Gilford
Gilford tied with Alton, both having six properties close in January. Along with Meredith and Wolfeboro, Gilford had ten new properties come on the market last month, one more property than this time last year.
The average days on market was one of the highest with 162 days. With that being said, ten properties went under contract which was one of the highest in the Lakes Region!
Laconia
Laconia, being one of the bigger areas in the Lakes Region, had the most sold properties, the most new properties come on the market, the lowest days on market and one of the most properties to go under contract last month!
Meredith
Meredith had a good month in January as well. Ten new properties came on the market, and ten sold. This time last year, only four properties sold in Meredith which was a 150% increase in sold listings. Four properties when under contract with a 104 average days on market.

Moultonborough
Eight properties sold in Moultonborough last month, two more than this time last year which was a 33.3% increase.
Thirteen new properties came on the market, five more than last year! Six properties went under contract, one of which we represented the buyers and help them find their dream water-access home on Lake Winnipesaukee!
Tuftonboro
Only one property closed in Tuftonboro last month, three less than this time last year. Four new properties came on the market which was a 50% decrease from January 2018. Two properties went under contract.
Tuftonboro had one of the higher average days on market tying with Gilford with 162 days.
Wolfeboro
Tying with Center Harbor, Wolfeboro had four properties closed last month. Ten new properties came on the market while six went under contract. With one of the lower average days on market, Wolfeboro had an 83 day average.
