March 2020 Lakes Region Statistical Report

Alton

Ten new properties hit the market last month while six went under agreement. Alton saw over a 70% decrease in the average days on market when comparing February 2019 and 2020. Four listings sold, three less than this time last year. 

Center Harbor

Center Harbor's numbers are always low in comparison to the other towns partly because it is so much smaller in size. One property hit the market, one went under agreement and one sold. The average days on market only went down 7 days when comparing this and last year's numbers.

Gilford

Five properties in sold in Gilford last month and another five went under agreement. A total of six listings hit the market, four less than the previous year. The average days on market went up just over 64%. 

Laconia

Laconia had the most properties close in February ending the month with a total of ten sold homes. 28 new homes hit the market and 15 went under agreement, both being the most for the town surrounding Lake Winnipesaukee. Laconia had a great month having the most sold properties, home to go under agreement, new homes AND the lowest days on market average with 59 days.

Meredith

Last month, Meredith had the 3 highest amount of properties to close ending the month with 6 closings. Another 7 went under agreement while 6 new homes hit the market. The days on market average jumped from 49 days in Feb 2019 to 151 days in Feb 2020.

Moultonborough

Of the nine properties to close in February, we were fortunate to represent the sellers on three of them. One of the properties we closed was 61 Summit View Dr that sold before it even hit the market and for full asking price! 17 new properties hit the market last month, and five went under agreement. 

Tuftonboro

Three listings sold in Tuftonboro and four new properties hit the market. Two homes went under agreement leaving the days on market average at 99 days, the same exact number at Feb 2019.

Wolfeboro

Five properties closed in Wolfeboro last month, two of which we were fortunate enough to represent the buyers for! Seven new homes hit the market and another seven went under agreement. The days on market average in Wolfeboro was one of the lowest for the towns surrounding Lake Winnipesaukee with 62 days.
