September 2020 Lakes Region Statistical Report
Alton saw 11 listings close last month with one of the lowest days on market averages of only 22 days. 18 new properties came on the market while 2 went under agreement. When comparing the stats from September 2020 and 2019, the numbers almost across the board are slightly less this year.
With just 2 closings last month, Center Harbor saw the LOWEST AVERAGE DOM with only 7 days... wow! 2 other listings went under agreement and 7 new properties hit the market. 1 of the 2 closes in Center Harbor last month was our listing at 355 Center Harbor Neck Rd that closed in just 7 days!
15 homes sold in Gilford last month wrapping up August with a days on market average of 83 days. 16 properties went under agreement while 22 new listings came on the market.
We are thrilled to be representing the buyer's on a property that went under agreement in August and is expected to close at the end of September. Alongside that property, we listed 86 Cumberland Rd in Gilford and closed on that representing both the buyers and sellers in just FIVE days!
Laconia had the most sold listings out, new listings and listings to go under agreement.... wow!
22 properties closed in Laconia last month while 37 new listings hit the market. 18 went under agreement ending the month with a 44 days on market average. One of these was our listings at 172 Washington St which closed in just FIVE days and $16k over asking price! We also represented the buyers on both 161 Endicott St E Unit 15 and 20 Heritage Rd, we are thrilled for everyone involved!
Meredith had the 2nd most new listings to hit the market and was also in the top for the amount of listings to go under agreement last month. 26 new listings came on in Meredith, one of which was ours at 24 Hillrise Lane. This property went under agreement in just FIVE days and is expected to close in October. We also represented the buyers on 45 Happy Homes Rd that closed in September for $935,000!

Just one listings short of Meredith, Moultonborough had the 2nd most new listings to come on the market last month with 25 homes. 17 properties closed including our listing at 26 Dufault Rd that closed in just FOUR days! 16 properties went under agreement including our listings at 19 Buckingham Terrace which is expected to close the end of September, and 2 additional properties we are representing the buyers on that are expected to soon as well.
6 listings sold in Tuftonboro last month while an additional 6 came on the market. 10 properties went under agreement ending the month with a 13 days on market average!
