Sally and Jonathan's love for one another is just as strong as their love for chocolate and that is where it all began for them. When Jonathan handmade chocolate truffles for Sally one Valentine's day, she knew she had to marry him and a business in chocolate was in their future.

Jonathan and Sally opened Lake Winnipesaukee Chocolates in 2006 and have over 27 flavors of chocolatey goodness named after places around the Lakes Region and various mountains.

To help make certain that the same spirit which drew Jonathan and Sally back to the Winnipesaukee area and kept them here remains strong for many generations to come, 10% of profits are donated to the preservation of the lake and the area surrounding it. This passion also drives them to work with local suppliers whenever possible and sell through locally owned and independently run stores.

Chocolate is the answer, who cares what the question is.

Using only the finest ingredients available, Winnipesaukee Chocolates blends a different combination of chocolate for each bar. Each bar is mixed, molded and wrapped by hand!

Now that we have your mouth watering, you can buy Winnipesaukee Chocolates in Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont and New Hampshire! Take a look on their website to learn more about local stores in your area who sell their amazing chocolates. We will race you there! And don't forget, chocolate is ALWAYS a good idea!
